Dear Runners

The Race Entry Pack Collection (REPC) for the Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore (SCMS) 2011 will be held at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Hall F, Marina Bay Sands from 1 December (Thursday) to 3 December (Saturday) 2011.

Runners will be notified on their T-Shirt Balloting status two weeks prior to the REPC.

Event Details

Collection Details

• All runners, except for those registered under the Corporate/Bulk Registration accounts, must collect their Race Entry Pack during the REPC period.
• The Organisers reserve the right to refuse anyone the collection of the Race Entry Pack.
• All runners are required to produce their NRIC/Passport/Photo ID (for runners in all adult race categories) or a photocopy of the runner’s Birth Certificate (for Kids Dash participants only) upon request from the counter staff.
• Letter of Authorisation is required if you are collecting on behalf of other runners.
• Collection of Race Entry Packs will not be entertained after the REPC period.

  A runner can collect on behalf of a maximum of five other runners at the Public REPC. A non-running representative may collect on behalf of a maximum of six runners at the Public REPC.

  Runners' Entitlements

  All marathon participants will receive an exclusive Race Entry Pack with these items:

  • Event Bag
  • Exclusive Event Running Singlet
  • Bib with safety pins
  • B-Tag timing device* (affixed to the Bib)
  • Other sponsored goodies

  *B-Tag timing device will not be issued to the participants of Kids Dash and 5km Fun Run

  Important Information for ALL Runners

  
  
  1. All runners (including overseas participants residing outside of Singapore) EXCEPT participants registered under the Corporate/Bulk registration accounts, are eligible to take part in the Closed REPC time slot selection exercise.
  2. All runners registered under the Corporate/Bulk Registration accounts would NOT be allowed to collect their race packs at the Closed or Public REPC. Their race packs will be delivered to their respective companies and organisations for distribution to these runners.
  3. All runners are required to produce the following documentation upon request from the counter staff:
  • NRIC/Passport/Photo ID (for runners in all adult race categories)
  • A photocopy of Birth Certificate (for Kids Dash participants only)
  4. Runners who know in advance that they are unable to collect their race packs at the Closed REPC may appoint representatives to collect on their behalf. All representatives are required to produce the following documentation upon request from the counter staff:
  • NRIC/Passport/Photo ID
  • A photocopy of the runner's NRIC/Passport/Photo ID (for runners in all adult race categories)
  • A photocopy of Birth Certificate (for Kids Dash participants only)
  • Letter of Authorisation (LOA)

  5. A runner can collect on behalf of a maximum of five other runners at the Public REPC. A non-running representative may collect on behalf of a maximum of six runners at the Public REPC.
  6. A runner who is successful in selecting his/her preferred time slot for the Closed REPC can collect on behalf of a maximum of five other runners who are also successful in selecting their preferred time slot at the Closed REPC. The runner who will be collecting the race packs should only collect them at his/her own selected time slot.
  7. A non-running representative may collect on behalf of a maximum of six runners who are successful in selecting their preferred time slot at the Closed REPC. The representative who will be collecting the race packs can collect them at any of the time slots selected by the runners he/she is representing.
  8. Parking lots are available at Marina Bay Sands. However, there will be no specific parking lots designated for both the Closed and Public REPC. Runners and representatives are strongly encouraged to take public transport to the Sands Expo and Convention Centre at Marina Bay Sands as the car park is expected to be full during the event.   Important Information for Ekiden Relay Participants

  1. Ekiden relay participants may appoint a representative from their team, who is successful in selecting his/her preferred time slot for the Closed REPC, to collect the race packs on their behalf at the Closed REPC, regardless of whether the other team members are successful in selecting their preferred time slot. The runner who will be collecting the race packs should only collect them at his/her own selected time slot.

  Important Information for Runners who are Parents/Guardians of Kids Dash Participants

  1. Runners who are successful in selecting their preferred time slot for the Closed REPC may collect the race packs for their children/wards who are participating in the Kids Dash race category at the Closed REPC as well, regardless of whether their children/wards are successful in the selection of their preferred time slot.
  2. In the event where both the runners and their children/wards who are participating in the Kids Dash race category are successful in selecting their preferred time slot for the Closed REPC, they can choose to collect their race packs at either/any of their selected time slots.
