10. I realised that I have missing/faulty items in my race pack after leaving the race pack collection counter. Can I return to the counter to request for an exchange of faulty items or a top-up of missing items?
No. All runners and representatives should perform a check for missing or faulty items in their race packs at the collection counter and notify the counter staff immediately should there be any faulty items or items missing from their race packs. Once they leave the collection counter, they will not be allowed to request for an exchange of faulty items or a top-up of missing items.
11. What happens if the timing device is missing from my race pack?
A new timing device will be provided for free if it is not found in the race pack upon receipt at the collection counter. Every runner and representative should check to ensure there is a timing device in their race pack before leaving the collection counter. Cases of missing timing devices will not be entertained once the runner or representative leaves the collection counter.
12. Can I exchange my race pack and/or all other items in the race pack according to my preference?
The exchanging of race packs and/or all other sponsors' items are strictly not allowed.
13. How can I ensure that the timing device inside my race pack is correctly embedded with my personal particulars?
Scanning stations are available at the REPC for runners and representatives to scan and check their timing devices. Those who receive timing devices embedded with incorrect personal particulars may proceed to the help desk for assistance.
14. What happens if I lose, misplace or forget to bring my timing device to the race? Can I still run in the race?
Runners may still participate in the race if they lose, misplace or forget to bring their timing devices, as their race bibs are the passport to participate in the race. However, their race timings will not be recorded.
15. Do I need to return the timing device after completing my race?
Runners do not need to return their timing devices as they are designed to be disposable.
16. Will I be able to exchange the event Running Singlet if it does not fit me?
No. As the Organisers have provided the size charts for participants' reference before they choose their Running Singlet sizes, any request for a change in singlet sizes will not be entertained.
17. What happens if the race bib pack which I have been issued with does not match my personal particulars?
You should check the contents of your race bib pack before leaving the REPC. If you encounter such an issue, please kindly approach the staff at the help desk. They will then assist you accordingly.
18. What is the purpose of the race bib and why must I wear it?
The race bib acts as a passport for runners to take part in the race. Runners are required to fill in their personal details on the reverse side of their race bibs for emergency purpose. Runners who do not wear their race bibs will be directed out of the race route by route marshals. They will not receive the Finishers' Medal or Certificate.
