Kids Workout

Children learn through exploration and play!

A positive experience with sports as a child can have lasting effects to make a better-rounded adult and Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore aims to achieve this by providing kids with an avenue to be engaged in physical activity to help them develop holistically.

You can expect an exciting line-up of activities, such as Laser Tag, Tchoukball and important athletic fundamental skills and knowledge supported by Singapore Athletics Association that will be helpful on the race day! Parents are encouraged to join their child at the mass warm up to foster parent-child bonding.

Registration fee is $20 and registration is only open to:

All Kids Dash Participants from age 4-13 only Registration has closed
Child (from age 4-13) of all other race categories participants
(Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore 2012 participant must be present during onsite registration on event day for identification purpose.)

Please note:

  • Registration to the SCMS 2012 Kids Workout will open to all Kids Dash registrants of SCMS 2012, on 14th September 2012 and children of all other SCMS 2012 Participants on 28th Sept.
  • The slots are available on first-come, first-served basis through online registration only.
  • You would be required to enter the SCMS participant’s NRIC/Passport Number/FIN (used to register for the marathon) to login to registration portal.
  • You may only register for one session.
  • The registration fee for each Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore 2012 Kids Workout is S$20.00.
  • A confirmation email will be sent upon successful registration for the Kids Workout, please do check the details on the confirmation slip and bring it along on event day for registration and verification.
  • For each registered kid, one parent is allowed entry in the Workout area as well. 
  • Packed lunch and drinks will be provided for kids only. We encourage kids with special dietary requirements to bring along their own food or drinks, if needed. Drinks will be provided for the parents.
  • The parent / guardian understand and accept that Singapore Sports Council (SSC) is merely a facilitator of the camp and that the registrant participates in the  activities at his / her own risk. SSC excludes all liability for any loss, damage, expense, costs, personal injury or loss of life that may arise.
  • The parent / guardian accept personal responsibility for ensuring the personal health and safety of the registrant / participant. The registrant / participant must not participate in any activity if unwell or unfit.
  • The parent / guardian agree to indemnify SSC in the event of any claims that may arise in relation to the registrant’s / participant’s participation in the camp activities / programmes
