Cheer Stations
Get your family and friends to join our volunteers and cheerleaders along the running routes on Race Day and cheer on the runners. Gather at our Cheer Stations and get a free Cheer Kit to cheer along with our cheerleaders. Be merry and join in the festive fun!
Cheer Stations are located along the Full Marathon route at:
1. Big Splash, East Coast Park
2. Seafood Centre Carpark E1, East Coast Park
What to carry:
- Cap / Sunglasses / Sunscreen
- Comfortable attire & footwear
- Drinks (lots of water)
- Camera
- Banners / Flags / Props
- Whistles / Loudhailers
- Raincoat / Umbrella
What to say:
- All the way!
- You can do it!
- Keep going!
- Go, go, go!
What NOT to say:
- Only 10km more to go! (when it is still a long way to finish)
- Just 2 more hours to the end! (when it is still a long time later)
- Faster, faster! (when the runner is out of breath)
- Smile, smile, have fun! (when the runner is clearly struggling)
Cheer Mobiles
Hop on and off our free shuttle buses which ferry you to our Cheer Stations to catch your runners in action. Buses are available at the Full Marathon Start Point at Orchard Road, for you to follow your runners. Our Cheer Mobiles run from 5.30am to 12pm, at every 15-minute interval.

BMW Cheer Your Runner Programme
With the BMW Cheer Your Runner Programme, you can now lend your voice to inspire your runner to go the distance.
Whether they are running the Full or Half Marathon, your personalised cheer will be tagged to their bib number and played out on a giant screen along the running route.

Track your friends on the run
Follow the progress of your runner with live results from RTRT.me or obtain facebook / twitter notifications. As a spectator, the times of the person you are tracking can be posted to your Facebook / Twitter feed automatically, allowing friends and family to share in the excitement. If you are a participant, claim your profile and enable Facebook / Twitter notifications. Your stats will post live as you pass each checkpoint.
