Form a team with your colleagues and take part in the Corporate Distance Challenge!
This is one race that may add a whole new dimension to your relationship with your colleagues as you foster team spirit while running for your organisation.
Organisations compete for the longest distance covered regardless of the race category. The race is not gender specific. However, participants must be of the same organisation to compete. The winner of the race is determined by the longest combined distance covered by all the participants within the organisation.
Company A has 62 finishers for Marathon (42.195km), 40 finishers for Half Marathon (21.1km) and 532 finishers for 10km.
Their total score/distance will be
= (62 x 42.195km) + (40 x 21.1km) + (532 x 10km) = 8780.09km!
There are two categories to this challenge:
- Corporate Distance Challenge
- Non-profit Organisation Distance Challenge
The top 10 Organisations in each of the above category will be:
- awarded a commemorative plaque for their efforts
- invited to the post-event appreciation lunch
- listed in the marathon website
- acknowledge in the post-event advertisement
